This is me. My name is Jamille Johnson. I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor or CMHC. I currently have 11 years experience doing mental health therapy. My professional interests are in the treatment of trauma through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I treat children and youth aged 2-18, and also treat adults struggling with the aftermath of trauma and other mental health issues. I do not offer marriage counseling and I do not treat developmental disorders such as autism as this is not my specialty.
My non-professional interests are crocheting, painting, sculpting, drawing, and the occasional video game here and there. I’m definitely a Mario and Luigi fan although Yoshi is my favorite character. I also play several instruments including the piano, violin, flute, guitar and harp. I have a harp in my office and offer music therapy by playing the harp when clients request it.
